Santorini: An Island based on fire!
Despite how many years pass, what sunsets come and leave Santorini was and remains a very beloved island. Those who loved Santorini, loved it forever. It is because of the soil, the colors,the differences from place to place, the fact that combines romance and unbridled fun? I believe that has the charm of the risk of the threat hovering in the air. And of course I do not mean other than the volcano...

A lovely journey to Fira is best to do it... by donkey across the old harbor and by boat to the volcano. Pay a visit to neighboring Thirassia with only 250 residents!
it goes without saying that there is a second round in order to experience the ultimate nightlife. Choose from restaurants with traditional music to clubs playing the latest foreign and Greek smash hits. Those who will be lucky enough to attend in the middle of August do not forget to watch the most spectacular event, named "Volcanoes." A virtual explosion and many musical events. Pure magic.
Emporios - Perissa
11 km away from the center of the island, lies the village of Emporios. The fortification is something that impresses. It is worth visiting the Tower, built over a period of Turkish rule, in order to protect the inhabitants from the raids. Unfortunately, now only a few ruins have been left, but the aura of a bygone era has been installed. A visit will convince you...
One very positive feature of Emporios is the proximity with the beaches of Perissa and Perivolos. Perissa one of the most tourist beaches. It has coarse black sand, tavernas 
and cafes and collect enough ages. Do not miss the feast of St. John on August 29 where plenty of local products are offered. Perivolos is also beautiful beach just a little more suited to those who love peace.
Imerovigli
All art forms have muster their forces and created Imerovigli. Located between Fira and Oia at an altitude of 300 meters, this famous beautiful picturesque village has been designated for its building.
During your stay in Imerovigli ,you will wonder in the narrow streets, you will admire the traditional architecture of houses and churches, you will enjoy views of the caldera and the volcano, and will fill your holiday album with unique photographs.
Also you can visit the ruins of the Venetian castle "Skaros" which due to its idyllic location offers breathtaking views. Following the path that starts Skaros to get to church Theoskepasti. Within a walking distance lies the imposing monastery of Agios Nikolaos where you will see the 32 cells of the nuns and the traditional church of St. George.
And if you got little tired of the churches and ruins, you can easily relax in the evening by having a drink at the bars in the area. It's a relatively quiet area, based on selectivity of visitors.
Kamari
This is one of the most popular resorts. Located at 10 km from Fira and has excellent tourist infrastructure. Besides, the beach is one of the cosmopolitan island. It has black pebble ,it is organized and extends until the monolith. Besides, it has been awarded by the Blue Flag of European Union!
Around the village there are many hotels and apartments complexes. Also, options for entertainment satisfy all tastes. Restaurants and cafes can be found along the waterfront and the bars will be an unforgettable evening of entertainment.
Beginning from Kamari you can visit the archaeological site of Ancient Thira. This city dates from the 8th century BC and the fact that came to light, staged culturally this region.
Another major attraction is the church of Episkopi, dating from the 11th century. In its interior you'll see the remarkable Byzantine paintings. And do not think you will leave without tasting the Greek entertainment, take a dance at the famous festival of the church on August 15th!
