Poros

Attractions: You will undoubtly appreciate the ruins of the ancient Temple of Poseidon, the town clock and the metropolis, which is decorated with paintings of the famous artist Parthenis.

Beaches: You can relax on the sun loungers of the organized beaches of the island, or calmly enjoy the beach of the small or large Neorio and of course, it’s worth dedicating a day to make the island tour and visit the beautiful beaches of the island, the famous Lemon Grove and Trizina.

Southeast of Argolida, just across the port of Poros, is Galatas, who is connected to Poros with frequent water taxis and ships.
You shall visit him because you can enjoy the sea of Argosaronikos and the beaches Bougas, Artemis and of course the beach of Lemon Grove.
The social life of Galatas does not have anything to envy from the capital of the island, so you’ll have the opportunity to choose from a variety of cafes, bars and pubs to spend your time.
In the last month of spring, in May, it is organized the flower exhibition "Flower Festival" which attracts many people.
Sightseeing: First stop Lemon Grove, if you visit in spring you will have the chance to enjoy the wonderful scents of citrus flower that decorate the landscape, reaching almost to the sea. Extra bonus to the picture gives the waterfall at the top of the hill.

How to reach?
Whether by boat from the port of Piraeus in 2 hours and 30 minutes, either by hydrofoil from the coast Tzelepi and Zea in only 1 hour and a half, or if you like you may go by car, because there is a link to Nafplio.
Internal Transport
To visit the Monastery and Askeli you will use a bus and to see Neorio, Monastiri, Galatas, Lemon Grove and Aliki you’ll have to get a water taxi.
